DESCRIPTION

I developed Nigella Face Rescue after a client suffering from Rosacea could find no relief from dry irritated skin. Oils were chosen for their calming and anti-inflammatory properties and have come together in a magical potion to calm and soften irritated skin like no other. When I gave it to her to test, she called me to thank me for “rescuing her skin”. It didn’t have a name at the time, hence Nigella Skin Rescue Balm. Its primary purpose is to provide nourishment, anti-oxidants, and soften dry rough skin.

KEY INGREDIENTS

Black Cumin Seed Oil
Black Cumin Seed Oil has been used for hundreds of years for the treatment of skin ailments. It is packed with essential fatty acids, linoleic acid and alpha-Linolenic acid that are key in the treatment of extremely dry and inflamed skin. It is a powerful anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and antibacterial properties make it a fantastic oil for both problem skin and age prevention. A quick penetrating oil, deeply moisturizing without clogging pores or leaving a greasy film.

Camellia Seed Oil
Contains antioxidants to help give a revitalized look to skin. An astringent oil that does not clog pores or leave an oil feel. Excellent for oily/problem skin. Contains squalene to nourish and soften. An overall excellent oil for both problem and aging skin.

Tahitian Monoi Oil
This exotic sought after oil is made from macerated rose petals in the Polynesian Islands and smells heavenly. It is known as a wonderful emollient that deeply penetrates and hydrates. Deeply nourishing for dry and damaged skin.

Argan Oil
Argan Oil is pressed from the nuts of a tree native to Morocco. Known to be one of the best oils to use on skin and is fondly known, for good reason, as Liquid Gold. Because it is very fast absorbing oil and leaves no trace of oiliness it’s a perfect moisturizing oil for both dry and problem skin. Argan oil is rich in Oleic and Linoleic acids that help to soften and nourish skin, it is also an excellent antioxidant and contains natural squalene, a super softening property that helps the skin retain moisture. Argan Oil is a perfect fit for all skin types.

Helichrysum
Known for its anti-inflammatory properties that are said to help calm and reduce the appearance of skin discolouration. It is gentle and benefits both troubled and aging skin. Its antibacterial properties are beneficial to skin prone to breakouts without drying it. Its anti-oxidant properties are said to help reduce free radical oxidative damage that can lead to premature aging. Helichrysum has a beautiful herbaceous smell.

Frankincense
Frankincense benefits include good cleansing abilities, skin toning and helping to regenerate aging skin.

HOW TO USE

Apply to clean face after toning and water-based serums. Apply a pea size amount to your hand, rub together to warm and then apply to face avoiding the eye area. Take time to gently massage into skin. If it feels oily, you have applied too much so gently blot with a tissue. You can apply your regular moisturizer over or leave as is.
